October 2018

October 1, 2018

This week was great like normal. We biked a ton this week, and had a ton of contacts. which lead us to be able to teach 2 lessons. That was sweet. the highlight of this week by far would have to be that Wes got baptized on Saturday in Hawaii. That kid was so much fun to be able to get to know. love that kid he made a great choice in his life and i know that it will make all the difference for him.  Other than that it has been a normal week for us. Just doing as missionaries do. Another cool thing that happened this week was that we had dinner with the Cope family. It was cool because they lived in the Brockett Ward. So we talked about people that we know.  If y'all could tell the Hammond and the Johnson families -- the Cope family from Southern Cal --  say "HI".  That's all I got today for that. Love y'all and hope you all are having a great day

What a week!
So the most memorable part of this week was that Becca and Tom were baptized and confirmed. It was such a pleasure to be apart of their journey coming closer to Christ. I was fun to work with them partly because Becca is from Georgia, around the same area I do. so that was Lit. Their baptism was amazing, there was a great spirit there. We had them bare their testimony at the end of the meeting and they were great!  We had a trainer follow up meeting and it was great to see some of my old mission friends from old areas. we biked a ton and Temecula had a rainstorm --  pretty rare but it rained a good bit so the trails that we rode got super muddy. It was fun. I love this time I have to serve the Lord here. Hope y'all have a great week!

This week went a lot like my other weeks. Other than. The Santa Anna winds are coming in full force. They start in the desert and bring the heat. So we have been biking in that heat. Other than that these weeks all seem the same. And have been for months. Elder Lambert and I are staying together here in meadow view. It has been hard -- but fun -- whitewashing.  I am excited to see what this next transfer holds.

October 29, 2018

Hey so it has been a great week. We biked a lot, trying to find people to teach. Along the way we have been able to talk to a bunch of people.  Unfortunately, this week wasn't very spectacular --  sorry for the short email. But I was able to bear my testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. That is the best part of this work I do, that and I get the opportunity to help others grow their faith in Christ.
